The Omnisense 8000S, a mobile bone assessment unit, makes osteoporosis management easier and more convenient for patients and physicians worldwide. The Omnisense 8000S offers precise and clinically proven assessment of fracture risk in a mobile format,. and can be comfortably carried and set up in a any location in less than two minutes, making it exceptionally mobile and convenient. Mobile bone assessment, at multiple skeletal sites, is the ideal way to approach  to osteoporosis management and care. Omnisense is the only bone sonometer on the market which can measure at multiple skeletal sites. Multi-site testing provides a better chance of identifying individual cases of osteoporosis as well as flexibility in testing patients who cannot be tested at a particular skeletal site. The advantages of multi-site measurement in monitoring treatment results, lay in the fact that different bones may respond to treatment at different rates. The system also features Sunlight's proprietary OmnipathTM axial transmission technology which enables measurement of the velocity of ultrasound waves propagating along the bone.
