The WaveLight handpiece-activated, high-power plasma-arc light is engineered for high-speed curing and whitening applications. The light`s pulsed output permits uniform monomer conversion, lowering pulpal temperature rise which optimizes curing and then results in reduced risk of stress on the composites. The light cures most composite materials and does so at a rate of one to three seconds per layer, Its small footprint allows ready integration into most operatories, and its attached handle en-hances portability.
