HomMed’s Sentry Monitor can quickly collect and securely transmit data
on five key vital signs: heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation,
temperature, and weight.
The Sentry is compact (weighing just three pounds) and can be
customized to simultaneously accept multiple peripherals, such as a
glucose and peakflow meter with EV1, PT/INR, and ECG. Its swipe card
feature also allows multiple users to be monitored, and data can be
transmitted easily by phone or pager.
There’s also a manual function that allows patients to take in-home
measurements whenever they wish. Our system helps clinicians spot and
address problems early to help patients avoid trips to the hospital or
emergency room.
