The GE HealthCare Vivid iq is a premium portable cardiovascular ultrasound system
and the first touchscreen-based system in GE’s high-end Vivid portable lineup. Designed for clinicians who
need uncompromising image quality away from the echo lab, Vivid iq delivers exceptional cardiac performance
in a compact, ultra-portable form factor with a modern, tablet-like user interface.
Built on a completely redesigned architecture, the Vivid iq offers image quality that is
significantly improved over earlier GE Vivid i and Vivid q systems, with clearer borders,
better penetration, and more consistent visualization in challenging patients.
Although engineered as a high-performance cardiovascular ultrasound platform, the Vivid iq
also functions exceptionally well as a shared service system. With support for abdominal,
OB/GYN, vascular, MSK, pediatric, neonatal, and small parts imaging, it adapts easily to hospitals, clinics,
ICUs, and outreach environments where flexibility and portability are critical.
The system’s 15.6-inch full HD capacitive touchscreen replaces traditional button-heavy
consoles with intuitive multi-touch gestures, while a clickable glass trackpad and streamlined control layout
promote efficient, ergonomic scanning. A sealed, splash-resistant surface simplifies cleaning and infection
control, making the Vivid iq well suited for bedside and interventional use.
