Simple, Reliable Defibrillation for Public Access and First Responders
The Physio-Control LIFEPAK® CR Plus Defibrillator is a fully automatic
automated external defibrillator (AED) designed specifically for the first person
to respond to a victim of sudden cardiac arrest. Using the same advanced technology trusted by
professional rescuers, the CR Plus combines simple two-step operation with
biphasic truncated exponential (BTE) defibrillation and escalating energy up to
360 joules, helping deliver effective therapy when every second counts.
Operation is intentionally straightforward: Step 1 – turn the device on,
Step 2 – apply the electrode pads. The LIFEPAK CR Plus then analyzes the rhythm
and, in the fully automatic version, delivers a shock when appropriate—no shock button required.
Clear, calm ClearVoice™ voice prompts, tones, and on-screen graphics guide the responder
through each step, while the Shock Advisory System™ ensures a shock is only delivered when needed.
To support readiness, the CR Plus performs regular automatic self-tests and displays status
on a highly visible Readiness Display. The unique SafeGuard Power System™ pairs a
long-life internal battery with a replaceable CHARGE-PAK™ battery charger and synchronized
QUIK-PAK™ electrode set, simplifying maintenance and keeping the AED mission-ready. QUIK-PAK electrodes
are preconnected and compatible with other LIFEPAK defibrillators, allowing seamless transfer
of care when EMS arrives.
This pre-owned unit delivers the same proven LIFEPAK performance and compatibility at a
significantly lower cost, making it an excellent choice for offices, schools, fitness
centers, churches, industrial sites, and other public locations that want a simple, powerful AED program.
