The Fujifilm SonoSite Edge II is a rugged, point-of-care ultrasound system built for high-stakes scanning where gear gets bumped, rolled, and cleaned constantly. It pairs an all-digital broadband architecture with image optimization tools (including SonoADAPT™ and SonoHD2™) and advanced Doppler capabilities, so you can move fast without flying blind.

Edge II’s signature is its transducer-focused upgrades: DirectClear™ Technology (on select probes) increases penetration and contrast, while Armored Cable Technology (optional on select probes) adds an embedded metal jacket to protect cable connections from the daily abuse of rolling, stepping, and twisting, helping preserve image quality over the transducer’s life. Add a wide-angle, anti-reflection glass display and a sealed, easy-clean control surface, and you get a system that’s designed for real clinical environments.

Key Features:

  • DirectClear™ transducer technology (select probes) for improved penetration, contrast resolution, and sharpened detail.
  • Armored Cable Technology (optional on select probes) with embedded metal jacket to protect signal connections and durability.
  • Fast startup: less than 25 seconds from power-on to scanning.
  • 12.1-inch LCD with chemically-etched glass and 85° viewing angles (up/down/left/right) for easier viewing with fewer adjustments.
  • Durable build: drop-tested at 3 ft.
  • Full imaging toolkit: 2D, Tissue Harmonic Imaging, M-Mode, Color Doppler/Power Doppler, PW/CW Doppler, and tissue Doppler options.
  • Sealed, infection-control-friendly interface: low-profile keys for cleaning, keyboard sealed to the edge to inhibit liquid ingress.
  • Onboard storage and export: 16GB internal storage, USB auto-export, encrypted patient data, and common export formats (MPEG-4 H.264, JPEG, BMP, HTML).
